Meet two-time Olympian in the 49er class, Tim Wadlow, also the ICSA 1997 College Sailor of the Year and three-time
All-American for Boston University. This is the third of three parts.
Wadlow grew up in Fair Haven, N.J. and learned to sail when he was six years old. His family moved to San Diego when he was 11, where he sailed Sabots with the junior program at the Southwestern Yacht Club. Wadlow chose Boston University for both its sailing and engineering programs. Wadlow was a three-time All American at B.U., and was named 1997 Collegiate Sailor of the Year. With a degree in mechanical engineering, he stayed in Massachusetts after college, where he now lives with his wife, Ery and dog, Riley.
